Recycling your Gaia&Vie products

Recycling is converting waste into reusable material.

In the UK all councils provide recycling to houses in their area. Although this is a rough guide, all councils have different recycling regulations so check with your area rules before recycling.

Our konjac sponge is a plant based cleanser. The sponge is biodegradable so can be put in your household food waste or compost heap once separated from the cotton string. They come in a paper bag sealed with paper tape. These can both be put in with paper waste.

Our face oils come in a glass bottle with a plastic pipette. The bottle is fully recyclable in glass (just give it a quick clean first). To recycle the pipette, separate the glass dropper with the PET plastic top and recycle them separately.

All our labels are already made of recycled paper so tear off and recycle with your paper waste.

All your orders come in a carboard box that can be recycled with paper or even degraded in a compost heap if you have one. The boxes are stuffed with biodegradable wood wool. These can be recycled in the same way.

My favourite part of our packaging is our seeded postcard. Each order comes with a thank you card that contains seeds you can plant in your house, garden or local park. Just soak it in water then tear up and plant in soil. Remember plants need some TLC to grow so water it everyday.
